Even in the areas where surgery doesn’t happen, these should be clean too as it gives an indication of what the rest of the practice is like.
Communication
Your dentist should speak to you regularly about what is going on with your teeth and they should do so in an empathetic and informative way. Many dentists have extremely poor communication skills and you shouldn’t accept this. The expectation is that you have a dentist who is happy to talk to you about what is going on, and gives you the time and the patience to do just that.
Range of Services
Some dental practices are extremely limited in terms of what services they can offer and that means that you may have to go elsewhere for treatment. Breaking up your treatment like this can be a real pain so it makes much more sense to you to find a dentist who can offer a large rage of treatments and services. This is even more true when you find a dentist that you like, the last thing that you will want is to have to be treated by someone else, that doesn’t know you.
