Give yourself some credit, you’re a hard worker. You’ve put in thousands of hours at your place of work, whether that’s at a place like The Institute of Natural Health or a marketing company, as well as kept up with the gym, all while raising a house full of kids. It’s time to treat yourself.

And is there any better way to treat yourself than by taking a family trip to Disney World? It’s one of the most magical places on Earth, and if you’ve never been before, there are a few things you’ll absolutely need to do before leaving.

Catch a Show

There are too many great shows at Disney World not to catch at least one of them. First-time guests wouldn’t get the whole Disney experience without taking a break from the rides to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom, or enjoy the spectacle that is Fantasmic at the end of the day, which is filled with characters, lights, music, and more! Or perhaps you would rather stop and see a passing parade during the day, which is bound to be filled with plenty of eye-catching greatness.

Get Your Picture with Iconic Characters

You’re sure to run into a handful of iconic and recognizable characters that are walking through the park. You might run into classic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse himself, Goofy, Donald Duck, and more, as well as modern Disney characters, princesses, Pixar characters, and Star Wars characters, like Moana, Darth Vader, Woody, Gaston, and many more.

If you run into any of these characters, capture the moment by getting your and your kids’ picture taken with them. It’ll give you something fun to look back on and remember your time at the happiest place in the world.

Ride the Mountains

Disney World is a theme park, and they certainly don’t slack in the thrill department. Some of their most popular and classic rides include their trio of mountain-themed rides, including Magic Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain.

Do yourself a favor and get in line! These rides are sure to get your heart pumping and put a smile on your face. Just hope that your kids are tall enough to ride.

Enjoy a Disney Treat

All that fun and excitement is sure to leave your stomach grumbling after a while but lucky for you Disney World has some of the most delicious treats around. For starters, there are dozens of different Mickey Mouse-shaped goodies like pretzels, ice cream pops, and pancakes, plus some of the best macarons you’ll ever eat. If it’s a particularly hot day, you’ve got to go try one of the park’s classic dole whips, which is to die for.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. You’ll come across loads of scrumptious-looking treats to try around the park that you can only enjoy at Disney, but the real challenge is leaving enough room for it all.
