Hot to Play Craps

1. Make sure that you know the role of each employee operating your game of craps. At the side of your craps table, you should find the boxman whose job it is to look after the cash. 2. Place a bet

An easy bet to place is what’s known as “the field”. Which is a simple one roll bet, that the dice rolled will land on either 2,3,4,9,10 or 11. Better yet if you play “the field”, you’ll enjoy one to one odds. As an example, if you bet $15, you’ll make $15 if 2,3,4,9,10 or 11 come up. Alternatively, you may want to bet on the pass line. If you doif a 7 or an 11 are rolled you will win 1 to 1 on your bet, when the off button is activated. You’ll lose your pass line bet if a 2,3 or 12 is rolled.

However, if the on button is currently activated you only lose your pass line bet if a 2,3 or 12 are rolled and make your bet if a 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 is rolled. Keep in mind that the vast majority of your fellow players will typically take this bet, instead of betting on “the field”. It’s well worth getting used to what numbers you need rolled, when the off button is on and the off button is rolled, in order to become a successful craps player.

3. If you win, make sure to remove your winning chips before the next dice roll

4. Understand the roll of being chosen to roll the dice

If a 7 is rolled, while the on button is activated you lose all of your currently placed bets and it’s a new players turn to roll the dice.
