With Christmas just under 6 weeks away it is time to start thinking about what gifts we are going to buy for the family and our friends. If you are anything like me then you will already have the big items bought and wrapped, with just the stocking fillers left. I love being stocking fillers, little knick knacks which go alongside a larger gift, usually made of up functional items which the recipient needs. When it comes to men I think that it is harder to pick up stocking fillers so I thought I’d give you some ideas as to what you could buy this year for the men in your life. If you are stuck with sticking fillers for the boys, here are some ideas to consider.
Designer Briefs
In my experience men can be pretty lazy when it comes to grabbing themselves new underwear, with many sticking to the same pairs for a great length of time. For this reason men’s designer briefs make for a great stocking filler that every man can use and enjoy. Naturally you need to make sure that you get the size right so make sure that if you don’t know, that you speak to someone who does.
Chocolate
Even the most health conscious of men enjoy eating chocolate at Christmas time so this is another great little stocking filler which you could buy. There is a myth that it is only us girls that enjoy chocolate but this is not the case and the boys like it just as much as we do.
Nail Clippers
As someone who has lived with men before I cannot tell you just how frustrating it is to hear them looking for their nail clippers every two weeks! And so the perfect stocking filler which you can buy for the man in your life is a nail clipper set, which they can store in one place and find whenever they need it. Remember that stocking fillers should be practical, and they don’t get more practical than nail clippers.
In-Car Coffee
Does your man rush out to work each morning with little time to spare for anything, even a cup of Joe? If so then why not buy him one of the brilliant in-car coffee makers that you can find on the market. All you do with these gadgets is filled up the container with coffee and water the night before and plug it in to your cigarette lighter, when he is rushing to work in the morning he can simply start the engine and his coffee will be ready in less than 5 minutes. These are surprisingly inexpensive gadgets and they will be a great idea for a stocking filler for the man in your life.
